International Mineral Resources

IMR Company is a member of the IMS Group holding and specializes in development of deposits of nonmetallic materials and manufacture of building ceramics.

To-date, the IMS Group participants have a sufficient experience in wall materials manufacture. The "Slobozhanska Budivelna Keramika" Joint-Stock Company is one of projects that were successfully implemented with our assistance. The "SBK" Joint-Stock Company consists of two enterprises located in Romny (Sumy region) and in Kharkiv.

Since 2004, the "SBK" Joint-Stock Company has mastered new technologies, brought the Kharkiv brickworks to the full capacity, has launched a new full-scale production of a brick being qualitatively new to Ukraine, entered the international market.

The "SBK" Joint-Stock Company is today the largest manufacturer of ceramic facing brick in Ukraine with a share in total manufacture making approximately 40 %.

In the process of development of the "SBK" Joint-Stock Company we acquired experience in the following areas:

brick manufacturing techniques;
use of French and German equipment;
marketing and international market development.

To-date, within the scope of project development, the IMR's activities can be divided into the following three key positions:

Industrial development on creation of a network of plants for manufacture of facing brick / building ceramics;
Creation of a marketing / dealer's network for sale in Russia and Ukraine of building materials imported from abroad, the current need in which is confirmed by the absence of corresponding offers in the market on the part of domestic manufacturers;
Development of some deposits for the purposes of nonmetallic materials production;
Development of deposits is performed on a stage-by-stage basis and in the following directions:
The Russian Federation:
- Oryol;
- Krasnodar (download presentation under the project).
Ukraine:
- Donetsk.

Stage of development of the projects:

Within the scope of item No. 1, we developed a concept of the project for building of a lining brick plant in the Oryol region of the Russian Federation, a land plot was allotted, relevant license was obtained, corresponding agreements of cooperation were signed with the local governor's service, options of deliveries of the purpose-built equipment for the plants of 2 capacity types were worked out. At the same time, we made decision on determination of this project as a basic model for industrial development that will allow creating similar Greenfield projects also in other regions of Russia and Ukraine. For instance, today we are also working upon allotment of land plots and signing of corresponding agreements with local authorities of the Donetsk region (Ukraine) and Krasnodar region (the Russian Federation).

The total amount of investments into the announced projects is expected to make approximately 100 million euros. On our part, we are interested in engagement of a strategic partner having a many-year experience in this area for the purposes of a better and faster implementation of projects.
